The Projects

Typically nothing is ever fully finished.

Programming was a hobby before it turned itself into a paid job (which was intentional, mind you) and I still enjoy fiddling with scripts and larger projects on computers after I’ve pushed aside my work for the day.

For years you could find me almost daily on IgorMUD where I’ve been a wizard since 1993 and for a few years an arch (think of it as a game administrator).

I’ve got a few computers running the SETI@home program. Why? Just because I can, I guess. I’m in the tiny IgorMUD group. Its active 3 members recently (March/April 2005) switched to the BOINC version, which allows you to support more than just SETI@home. Of course I keep track of the projects in which I participate and my progress.

At work we have a DS200 device and I documented the setup I used to track its performance with MRTG.
