I've dropped Tunnelblick (which I was still able to do, as I was merely experimenting with it and not completely relying on it) entirely for the time being because it did not play well with the network partitions that I do rely on (one for iTunes and one for Time Machine). Would love to return to it in the near future. It might be that there is a simple configuration change that would fix this, who knows.

Tunnelblick with Leopard is making me crazy. Even the latest version doesn't work so well with Leopard. The main problem is that it keeps dropping the default route (I redirect my default route to the VPN), and I keep having to manually reinstate it to get things working again. This kills all my states, and it requires me to start a bunch of things back up again. This usually occurs hourly, when openvpn does some kind of reset of the connection.

I wrote to the developer a week or so ago about it, but I haven't heard anything.

I'm interested in this myself, but having gotten my Up-to-Date Leopard disk today, I can probably find out for myself pretty soon. :)

I'm running iTerm and Terminal side by side right now, running some local shells in Terminal, and some work-related shells in iTerm. I'll put my thoughts into a new blog entry. :)

There is a new terminal app in Leopard, with tabs, etc. I'd be interested in hearing how it compares to iTerm.
