Great. Sat down at my computer this morning and found that all connections were gone. No IM, no ssh connections, browsing didn’t work, etc.
So I took the time to reorganize some wiring in the server room, get all caught up on newsfeeds, listen to a bunch of podcasts that I’d been ignoring for a while (because they’re not good listening material when I’m concentrating on work) and clean up my desk a bit more. Perhaps there should be a scheduled outage one time each week? 
Update: Got my link back around 11:30 AM. I suspect the cable link was back a little earlier than that but the Vonage device didn’t pick up on that so powercycled it and then everything was happy again.
